1st December- Stollen

Many years ago I decided to make a fruited, yeasty Christmas bread called stollen. Probably because it features a strip of marzipan in the centre- how I love marzipan! It was a great success! I think it makes a lighter, nicer version of Christmas Cake.
Anyway I have decided to make it this year and extra to give away as presents. The versions in the shops are not pleasant so I would recommend making your own. Will post a link to a reasonable recipe later.
