2 things...

One is urgent- I need ideas for an auction of promises. Deadline tomorrow. What can I offer?

The other is, what can I do with satsuma peel? I can't compost it as it's too acidic and we're eating so many, I really don't want to bin it. Do you have any ideas?
I have heard previously that dried citrus peel makes really good firelighters but as we don't have an open fire, that isn't much use to us.

blend it with alkaselza solution to neutralise the acidity then compost... or spray on lawn if oranges have nitrates

If you haven't got a fire you could still light them and sniff the vapours.

Why not come out of denial and simply come to terms with your identity as a polluting consummer: Seal them up in rusting metal drums, bury them above the water table, and stick up a sign saying: "Beware: Toxic waste Dump [Acid]"

PS: Don't you think Ben looks a lot older than me? (He's old head on young shoulders)
