Advent Calendar Day Twenty One

The next day the great crowd that had come for the Feast heard that Jesus was on his way to Jerusalem. They took palm branches and went out to meet him, shouting,
"Hosanna!"
"Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!"
"Blessed is the King of Israel!"

When Jesus arrived at Jerusalem, the whole place was decorated with palm leaves to celebrate his arrival. The Christmas equivalent would be holly and miseltoe. Decorations are all a part of the preparation and atmosphere of Christmas. Soak up that atmosphere today.
