Latitude

Had a great time at Latitude festival last weekend, my first ever festival. The weather was mixed but I survived the whole camping lark. I did not however enjoy the toilets: pretty rank.

Here's a list of what/who I saw:
Music
Flashguns
The Mummers
The Brownies
Bishi
We Have Band
Little Boots
Doves
Grace Jones
Mika
Thom Yorke
Editors
Literary
Mark Steel
Luke Wright
Jackie Kay
Joe Hakim
Joe Duggan
David Van Cauter
Baba Brinkman
Comedy
John Gordillo
Dave Gorman
Theatre
English Touring Theatre and the young Vic: Been so Long

I really enjoyed the poetry tent where I spent the majority of Sunday. Jackie Kay was a highlight as she was entertaining, witty and talented. Thom Yorke was great as expected and unsigned band We Have Band were most enjoyable on the Lake Stage which was always worth pausing by.
All in all I had a great time and would love to go again. The only downside was the number of people there on the Saturday and Sunday when obviously people came on day tickets. Friday was pretty much perfect though.
